“White Heat Radio” does not fit into the framework of one genre, as it plays music that reflects the unique sounds of various currents. From art rock, punk rock, glam rock, psychedelic rock to spoken word poetry, it features performers whose artistic contribution, flowing self-expression and innovation represent a wide spectrum of music and show that this art form is free of any limitations.

The aim of this show is to reflect the many different sides of music, focusing on songs from the late 60s and 70s, that represent unique and somewhat avant-garde pieces of musical history.

My relationship with this sort music was lead by influences like “The Velvet Underground”, whose album “White Light/ White Heat” was the inspiration for this show’s name. The band was one of the primary pioneers of the art rock movement which emerged in the late 60s. Music that was made for the purpose of art, music that blends various genres with poetry and rewrites the rules of traditional sounds, is the reason why music is so inspirational and meaningful to me personally.
